Shocking Shiba Inu news from WEF! The World Economic Forum (WEF) has refused to ask the Shiba Inu to help coordinate the global policy of the Metaverse. Instead, the international agency said there was an inquiry call with Shiba Inu organizers which it said was incorrect for an invitation. This information is not based on an election tweet that Shytoshi Kusama, an anonymous volunteer manager and creator of the Shiba Inu coin (SHIB) meme posted more than a week ago.

On November 22, Kusama announced on Twitter that Shiba Inu was invited by the WEF to participate in the launch of the global MV policy. The purpose of his tweet was to get confirmation from #ShibArmy to accept or reject the invitation.

ShibArmy I want a quick vote: We are invited to work with the WORLD ECONOMIC FORUM on their global VM policy. I’d love to know what you all think because it’s not our decision, it’s yours,” Kusama tweeted.

According to Kusama, accepting the WEF invitation will mean Shiba Inu developers will be working with Meta, Sandbox, and Decentraland. “We will be at the table with policymakers and help shape the global policy for VM in other areas such as FB (goodbye Zuck), Sand, Decentraland, etc. But please don’t ask me It’s not my opinion, you already know that.”

More than 62% supported the alleged invitation

In response to his election tweet, a total of 22,775 were recorded, representing 62.3% of respondents voting for the invitation. Another 27.7% voted against accepting the WEF’s invitation to participate in the Metaverse Global Policy initiative. And the remaining 10% were neither here nor there, they did not show interest in accepting or rejecting the invitation. The WEF metaverse initiative was launched in Davos in May this year to define and build an open and inclusive metaverse.

Although they made it clear that they don’t call Shiba Inu, the WEF Metaverse team works with over a hundred companies, including Meta, Decentraland, Animoca Brands, Polygon, and Somnium Space. This is not limited to these blockchain-based companies, but also virtual reality (VR) companies, government agencies, academic institutions and Interpol.
