Elon Musk has taken a 9.2% passive stake in social media company Twitter Inc (TWTR), according to a Bloomberg report.
- Musk, the CEO of car company Tesla Inc (TSLA), is a staunch backer of cryptocurrencies and often uses Twitter to dispel his views on cryptos.
- Shares of Twitter jumped over 26% to $49.79, while shares of Tesla were up 1% in pre-market trading.
