Former European football icon David Beckham has been named küresel brand ambassador for DigitalBits Blockchain, an open-source blockchain on which any asset can be tokenized, including NFTs, sports teams and other brands.
- The relationship with Beckham will help spread DigitalBits’ blockchain use to consumers and various küresel organizations, according to a statement. Additionally, Beckham will launch a series of NFTs and other blockchain-based digital assets that will be minted on DigitalBits blockchain.
- Beckham has a digital following of more than 138 million people around the world, according to DigitalBits.
- Crypto companies, particularly exchanges, have signed a slew of major professional athletes to become spokespeople and ambassadors in a bid to increase awareness of their services among the mainstream public.
